Make selected items persist after App restart.

Greetings.

Please, how can I make the previously selected items persist even after a restart of the application. They do persist after selection while the app is still in operation and not closed yet, but selected items are lost after app restart.

In my case, selected items are transmitted over a network (Bluetooth). Trying to add more items selected items to the previous selection (after app restart) is not possible.

Kindly suggest how one can address this issue.
