after getting the latest repo, cant seem to use the workspace

Getting this error on all file commands

SYSTEM: Command read_file returned: Error: 'WindowsPath' object has no attribute 'is_relative_to'

Any ideas?

I didn't use Anaconda for this. You can install Python 3.11.3 from the Python website though, it is the latest version currently. Once you install 3.11 it shouldn't be too difficult to get it working from the instructions in the Readme.

I'll try I have anaconda 3.10.10 loaded and I now get this error even trying to run python - m autogpt

ugh.. i have run it but im not sure i ran it again after the python update. i guess im not really sure how anaconda works. i think i ran that before doing a conda create of an environment that i then activated. anaconda seems to have some shell that can be activated or deactivated that seemed cool but maybe takes more time for me to sort out than just a more brute force approach.
i jus opened up a different powershell installed python 3.11.10 and ran "ok" except we do still see the Attempring to fix Json by finding the outer most brackets error.

thx for the help. ChatGPT did say that the WindowsPath attribute would require a more recent python version than 3.8

To create a new environment named <env_name> with python version number <version_num> use:

conda create -n <env_name> python=<version_num>

• “python=3.11” is enough, conda will install the latest.
• Don’t include the greater than and less than symbols.
• “—name” and “-n” are interchangeable

Example:

conda create -n chocolateIsYummy python=3.11
