how to make Auto-gpt continue its tasks exactly where it left off after a crash

I don't know why but after a while, Auto-GPT stops by itself.
I restart the command, validate that the prompt is still the one to follow, but instead of looking at what it has already done and continuing your work, it starts all over again.
How to correct this ? in the .env file ?

Make a copy of your activity.txt file from inside the logs folder, and paste the copy into your auto_gpt_workspace folder.

Go inside the copied version and get rid of everything from prior to the last time you ran it (or however far back you want to go).

I suggest renaming it from activity.txt to something like backupRestore.txt or just backup.txt (doesn't really matter, but this way you don't have two different activity.txt files which could cause issues down the line)

Then when you load it up again, after you tell it "y" to continue, give it the following prompt:

I have saved a log of our previous interactions at ./backupRestore.txt , read the file and restore yourself to the stop point of the file. You will need to chunk the file in chunks of 6000 tokens.

These are the instructions given in #430 (comment) as @Boostrix pointed out. Seemed to work for me.

Keep in mind, you will need to update the backupRestore.txt with the latest information from the activity.txt file in the logs folder every time it crashes.
