I think what it's suggesting is that if your device or router has been configured to forward the listed open ports from the internet to your device (not common/you would know you set this up) that it's not very secure and there's a concern there. The bot still has internet access through the Google search API which is your computer outbound to the internet, not the internet inbound to your computer. It also should locally have access to the open port listed on the Redis/docker image. Hope that helps. |

Hello everyone, I apologize if my question seems basic, but I've been following this project for a while and I'm still learning. I'm a bit confused about the recent Docker update. I understand that we previously used Pinecone and encountered some errors, so we've now switched to Docker, right?
In the README, it mentions that Redis should not be exposed to the internet. I'm having trouble understanding why this is the case. Wouldn't preventing the bot from connecting to the internet be a significant downgrade? I've tried to find answers using GPT, but I'm still not clear on this.
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
