The ultimate website CMS using obsidian git

i have discovered that you can set base outside of your obsidian current vault!

when cloning a repo use ../../../../ these symbols

if you are for example using a starlight astro website and you host your website files on git...you can change the content directory using obsidian if you clone the project

but the problem when you clone a website repo is you have too many files and folders which is annoying

you can clone the website using custom base path

in starlight the file system is like this /src/content/docs/ and everything is docs is markdown so its the folder we need

first make a new vault and clone your project in current directory...then open your markdown folder src/content/docs as a new vault then once again clone your repo using custom base path this time ../../../../ this symbols mean go 4 folders back and now you are in the folder that contains your first vault now we have to clone it inside it go to your second vault and clone your repo using ../../../../myfirstvault as custom base path

now you can forget the first vault(beaware don't delete it cuz it contains your other vault)

and horray you Can now Use Obsidian to UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE WITHOUT HAVING TO SEE ANY FOLDERS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT✨✨

also the crazy thing is this also works on andriod obsidian git

so now i can change markdown files and it will update on github pages in under 1 min

i will try to explain how to archive this trick using excalidraw later if people wanted to

apperantly i can't repredoce on windows but i can copy paste my
vault to my windows and it works fine
