Since your official stance is not to support webroot paths with spaces (see #6138), you should update your documentation accordingly.
I find this an odd decision - it may not be standard or good practice, but it's not uncommon on macOS. Administrators often have no say in this, as the decision of where files are stored lies with the software maintainers.
Since you support macOS, you should update the documentation to explicitly state that webroot paths with spaces are not supported to potentially save users a lot of trouble.
