That's an awesome idea, using Ionic 3 would allow you to use JS for most of the app except maybe the part that would need a background service, maybe it suffice with a Service Worker, or maybe you need a Cordova plugin for that, but i'm not certain of that.

The closest thing to an android app I wanted to do was #5. Would love to see an android app or some kind of integration though :)
