Filtering on rowversion column

i need to filter a timestamp column.

How do you search your timestamp column without Gridify?
can you provide a minimal example? what ORM are you using?

I use EF core 6 and honestly I haven't done it with EF yet

For example this works:
return result.Where(c => (long)(((object)c.UpdateTimestamp)) > 0);
I have create a custom CustomOperators like this
return (prop, value) => (long)(((object)prop)) > (long)value;

but we have this error:

I don't get what is Where(c => (long)(((object)c.UpdateTimestamp)) > 0);.
what is the type of UpdateTimestamp in this example? if it's long why did you cast it to object first and if it's byte[] this code can't work, how it is working?

by default, there is no explicit or implicit operator between long and byte[] or string and long so the above exception makes sense. You need to somehow convert your data to your destination type. e.g long.Parse("123");

I suggest first solving your problem without gridify and normal LINQ, then it gets easy to solve using Gridify.
Also, you need to provide a little bit more information, this way I can reproduce the problem to find a solution, for example, you can start by adding your entity class.
