Simplify video splitting

As a user I would like to perform video splitting (i.e. split existing video into two or more parts) with easy. Simple video cutter should support me giving some tools.

For example (just an idea) there could be an option to split existing selection into two parts, basing on current position.

Hmm, how this comment is related to idea of splitting the video?

Agree to this one. It should be possible to split the video at current play position or at least set start / end marker.
Fiddling around with mouse to hit a specific frame in the timeline is not that much fun.
If no endmarker is set, placing the start marker should select to the end. No need to use shift key.

I like the way used by avidemux but i always have a hard time with export options.
