As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, age, caste, social class, preferred operating system, programming language, or text editor, among other identifying characteristics.
This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
- Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech.
- Be mindful of your fellow participants. Alert conference organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
- Participate in an authentic and active way. In doing so, you help to create BUGTRONS and make it your own.
Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct by any participants of BUGTRONS and related events.
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by other participants, organizers, event partners, or other patrons of BUGTRONS event. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the conference without warning.
If you are subject to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify a event organizer as soon as possible. The BUGTRONS team will be available to help participants any time they need any help.
We expect all event participants to abide by this code of conduct at all event platforms and event-related social events.
