TypeError: Cannot read property 'INTERNAL' of undefined

I had a perfectly running build pipeline on Cloud Build and it builds the app by installing dependencies on the spot. I think the new release of this package or firebase-tools package has broken it. I am getting the following error now:

Now:
On my local machine, The build process was working fine as I have dependencies previously installed. I removed the node_modules and yarn.lock file and install the dependencies again and now I am facing the same issue on my local machine too.
