Thank you for reporting and collaboration.

Verified the issue on Magento 2.4-develop instance and the issue is reproducible.Kindly refer the screenshots.

Steps to reproduce

• Navigate to Store front as a guest user
• Go to product page from home page or via category page
• Add to cart a product
• Proceed to checkout via minicart or from the cart page
• Enter email address of an existing customer and then add password
• Click login button

We are getting error in console after clicking login.

Hence Confirming the issue.
