sl-textarea value/content - margin/padding/gap

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how the value/content inside the sl-textarea is positioned.
Looking at the output, I don't find any indicators in the css.
e.x padding/margin on the base wrapper etc.
the textarea control seems to be a centered grid item.

I use a sl-textarea to input some markdown and I would like to have the rendered output on the side the same visual appearance (text distance from the border etc.) and optimally have control over it for the sl-textarea.

Nevermind.. I was debugging on webkitgtk which has some difficulties with the shadow root, so it seems...
Firefox shows me plainly:
.textarea--medium .textarea__control { padding: 0.5em var(--sl-input-spacing-medium); }
