Feature:
When downloading media, there should be noticable but uninterruptive visual feedback that the download has begun and ended, in the form of either a tooltip, notification, or both. Attached are 3 good examples of this in other apps.

This makes sense. I have noticed the lack of indication that a download has begun causing multiple downloads.

Definitely add a notification that download is in progress. The progress would be "nice to have"!
