malisca
a linescanner application..
amongst other used for http://play.riverstudies.net/

requires:
* gstreamer 0.10
* openCV
* openGL & GLUT
* libgps / gpsd (for gps support)

update:
to compile under ubuntu 12.10 this also needs: 
apt-get install binutils-gold
