Announcement!
PostGraphile V5 and Grafast are in open beta! Sponsor at any tier for access to the dedicated V5 chat, and to help us get V5.0.0 over the finish line!
It's going to be an amazing release — check out the Grafast announcement at GraphQLConf (also the teaser at GraphQL Galaxy) and the 🆕 introduction to V5 blog series.
Hello! I'm @Benjie, the maintainer of the Graphile suite of tools - projects in the Node.js, PostgreSQL and GraphQL ecosystems focussing on enabling developers to more-rapidly develop high-performance, stable software. I also contribute to various GraphQL Working Groups, including the spec WG, which Jem and I summarise via the SpecNews podcast (currently on hiatus).
Your sponsorship will enable me to spend more time on these projects, resulting in faster fixes, faster PR merges, and of course easier to use, better documented, more flexible, more powerful and more performant software!
Here are some of the projects I maintain:
- The Graphile Crystal suite:
- Grafast – a cutting-edge planning and execution engine for GraphQL unlocking incredible efficiency across your backend stack
- PostGraphile – high-performance best-practices instant extensible GraphQL API for PostgreSQL
- Graphile Build – tooling to build extensible and uniform GraphQL APIs via plugin composition
- pg-sql2 – a powerful SQL-injection-proof query builder with full PostgreSQL support
- (and much more!)
- Graphile Worker – high-performance job queue for PostgreSQL
- Graphile Starter – opinionated quick-start project for full-stack application (e.g. SaaS) development in TypeScript, React, Node, GraphQL and PostgreSQL; intended for professionals
- Graphile Migrate – highly opinionated SQL-native migration system for PostgreSQL focussing on iteration speed
- gatsby-source-pg – the easiest way to pull PostgreSQL data into your Gatsby GraphQL API
- mehserve – simple port-sharing proxy: easy URLs for development servers running on different ports; websockets & SSL supported
I also contribute to many other open source projects, including the GraphQL Specification itself, the GraphQL over HTTP specification and more.
A lot of work goes into maintaining an Open Source project — not just the software development, but responding to the issues and chat messages, reviewing pull requests and giving guidance, writing high quality documentation, testing, publishing releases, improving developer experience, and much more. Your financial support enables me to take time off from client work to stay on top of these tasks and keep moving these projects and their communities forward.
Thanks for helping me spend more time making and improving open source software!
