Become a sponsor to Open Source Community Africa
Open Source Community Africa (OSCA) is a community for open-source lovers, enthusiasts, advocates, and experts within and across Africa with the sole aim of increasing the rate of credible contributions by African software developers, designers, writers, and everyone involved in the sphere of technology to open source projects both locally and globally, changing the perception of Africans from just the billion users to the NEXT BILLION CREATORS.
We currently achieve this through the following vehicles:
- 50+ OSCA Chapters across Africa.
- The annual Open Source Festival.
- Open Source Programs Mentorship and Support.
- Support for featured African-made open source projects.
- Discord community support server with 2500+ members.
Our main goal is to create an atmosphere where Africans not only use software and hardware but are also creators of these technologies. Sponsoring us would help us support open source maintainers and contributors with the right mentorship, resources, opportunities, training, and support they need to build successful projects.
